In March 2026, I finalized the sale of my apartment. Since I live in Wrocław and the apartment was located in Piastów, near Warsaw, I decided to work with a real estate agent who supported the entire process, from preparing the apartment for viewing to finalizing the contract at the law firm.
Over the past 20 years, I've been involved in several real estate transactions involving the purchase and sale of plots of land, apartments, and houses, and my experiences with real estate agents could be summed up as disastrous. The phrase "honest real estate agent" was an oxymoron for me. Constant lies, manipulation, failure to fulfill agreements, pressure to lower the price of the property to sell it faster, effectively against my best interests. I still had to handle a number of tasks and formalities myself. Not to mention the pressure to choose a notary office, which wasn't necessarily the most advantageous for me. When asked about real estate agents, my answer was – best avoided.
But this time was different. I decided to sign a contract with Yuryj Stayan from the "Pietra" agency and I am extremely satisfied with the level of service he provided. Yury is an exceptionally honest, professional, and hard-working man. Thanks to his initiative and hard work, we managed to prepare the apartment for presentation and sale – the apartment had been rented to a family with a small child for many years. He put a tremendous amount of work and dedication into it; I wouldn't have been able to manage all of this while living 350 km away. Thanks to his thorough market analysis, I could be sure that the price we were listing the apartment for was realistic and adequate to the market. He handled all the paperwork with the housing cooperative and local offices. He always answered my questions very honestly, and if he wasn't sure, he told me to check first.
For the first time, I met a real estate agent I could trust and who represented my interests reliably. I believe that every penny spent on his commission was money well spent. So I thought I'd share this information with those who may one day be looking for someone like this to work with when selling or buying real estate in Warsaw and the surrounding area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We would like to express our gratitude to the Piętra real estate agency for finding an apartment for our family. We were looking for an apartment with three separate rooms and a rent of up to 4,000 PLN. The apartment Piętra offered us is located in a gated community, has three separate rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a very good view from the window. The rental price is 3,600 PLN.
